EV/HEV Traction Inverter

  • Traction inverters convert energy from the vehicle's high-voltage battery to drive the motor. This has a direct impact on vehicle performance and electric range.
  • High-efficiency IGBTs and SiC MOSFETs are required to increase power efficiency and reduce the size and weight of traction inverters.

LED light of Automotive

  • LED lighting in cars is important for energy efficiency, accurate identification and reliability.
  • LV Trench MOSFETs, which are low-voltage products from 60V to 100V, are used.

On Board Charging of Automotive

  • It is an AC-DC converter and charges thebattery from an external voltage. Charging the external 220Vac voltage with ahigh-voltage battery to drive the vehicle's motor is called OBC (On BoardCharger).

  • We use Super Junction MOSFET, a high-voltage product of 650V or higher.

Pump, Fan, Compressor, PTC Heater of Automotive

  • Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) heaters automatically stop heating by reducing current flow as temperature rises due to increased resistance.
  • Applications in automobiles include electric pumps such as fuel pumps, oil pumps and water pumps, HVAC blowers and engine or battery cooling fans.
  • Thermal management, such as battery cooling, in the limited space of a car requires more auxiliary pumps and more electrical components.
  • Depending on the motor type and circuit, SGT or IGBT is used.

HVAC Control Module of Automotive

  • HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) refers to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, and is called air conditioning. The goal of HVAC is to maintain consistent temperatures and keep the air clean. A car's heater, air conditioner, and air circulation fan are all for HVAC.
  • The main switch that drives the motor uses 6 to 12 or more low-voltage MOSFETs.
